St. Vincent's Health System has launched its Ascension Online Care platform, giving consumers 24/7 access to care. Ascension Online Care (ascension.org/onlinecare) is an online urgent care that allows a patient to have a video visit with a healthcare provider using a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The cost of a visit is $49 and can be paid with a credit card or HSA/FSA and does not require insurance.

Ascension Online Care can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, including sinus or upper respiratory infections, non-life-threatening allergic reactions, sore throat, cough, cold/flu, fever, seasonal allergies, and more.

"Ascension Online Care is another way to deliver access and convenience," said Brenna Powell, Chief Strategy Officer, St. Vincent's Health System. "Patients now have more access to comprehensive care within our network of services, which includes primary, specialty, urgent and now online care."
