Michele Jones and Carrie Ridgway recently received the DCH Excellence Award, which is given to DCH employees who exemplify the highest standards of excellence in attitude, job performance, dependability,and contributions to DCH beyond the call of duty. Employees nominate their peers for the award.

Carrie Ridgway

Jones, a physical therapist with DCH Home Health Agency, was recognized for her clinical excellence and for her role as a mentor and educator. In her off time, Jones has volunteered to use her skills to help an underprivileged teenager improve her mobility and lower body strength.

Jones also provided first aid that helped save the life of a victim of a motor vehicle accident last year.

Ridgway has been an RN at SpineCare for 10 years.

In the community, Ridgway coaches youth cheerleaders and volunteers as a member of the medical team for "Night to Shine," which provides prom-like experiences to people with special needs.
