Lakeshore Foundation has launched Lakeshore Consulting Services (LCS), a new venture created to help businesses, nonprofits, and sports organizations seeking to strengthen operations, expand accessibility, and create sustainable programs.

The service was designed to meet the needs of each specific client by using their 4D Process—Discover, Design, Develop and Deliver—to construct customized plans to help each partner better serve employees and customers with disabilities. LCS helps clients move beyond basic compliance checklists to build authentic, experience-driven accessibility.

Additionally, LCS offers a variety of services designed to help nonprofits grow. LCS supports nonprofits through every stage of organizational development, from startup and governance to operational management, strategic planning, and sustainability.

LCS is a part of Lakeshore Foundation, a world leader in inclusion and adapted sports. Lakeshore’s unique history dates back more than 100 years, but it intersects with the origins of adapted sports through wheelchair basketball in the 1940s. The organization quickly became a leader in adapted sports and was the first designated Olympic and Paralympic Training Site in the United States. Lakeshore is currently home to three Paralympic teams and hosts dozens of programs for disabled and non-disabled members of the community.
