BrookeMD Primary Care was named Medical Practice of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce-Huntsville Madison County.

While Brooke Uptagrafft, MD, the Medical Director for the practice, acts as every patient's Primary Care Physician, the practice assigns a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) as patients' primary care giver. The team of CRNPs and support staff in the clinic has steadily grown since the practice opened in 2011.

BrookeMD was previously selected to participate in the Transforming Clinical Practices Initiative (TCPI), launched by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
