Ophthalmologist Mary “Mollie” Moses, MD has joined UAB Callahan Eye, and is seeing patients at Lions Eye Clinic, downtown, and Vestavia

Moses earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where she also completed focused training in biomedical ethics, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude.

She completed ophthalmology residency at the UAB Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, where she developed clinical expertise across medical and surgical ophthalmology. She gained extensive experience managing complex ocular disease in both outpatient and surgical settings, with an emphasis on diagnostic accuracy, continuity of care, and thoughtful clinical reasoning.v
