Andrew Fortugno, MD has joined Total Dermatology. He is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist specializing in medical dermatology and the care of patients of all ages.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine where he graduated first in his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2020.

He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he served as Chief Resident. From there, he went on to complete additional fellowship training in dermatopathology. Prior to joining Total Dermatology, he served as faculty at UAB and as staff physician at the Birmingham Veterans Hospital.

He is an active member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology. He is sees patients in clinic at the Total Dermatology Woodward and Trussville locations.
