The new Ascension St. Vincent’s Blount Wound Center opened in September. The wound center treats patients with non-healing wounds that require an advanced level of expertise, including wounds such as diabetic, venous and pressure ulcers.

Eric DuBois, MD, a general surgeon at Ascension St. Vincent’s, is overseeing the program. He and the staff of clinicians will develop an individualized care plan for each patient.

“The treatment of hard-to-heal wounds requires the unique care plan that comes from a dedicated wound center,” DuBois Said.
