The Birmingham Recovery Center has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval® Accreditation for addiction treatment.

The Birmingham Recovery Center, which opened last summer and is an outpatient substance use disorder facility, underwent an in-depth, onsite review. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with addiction treatment center standards.

The Joint Commission's standards are developed and informed by scientific literature and expert consensus to help health care organizations assess and improve performance.
