The Board of Directors of the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) recently recognized Lanier Johnson, Executive Director, for his 15 years of service at ASMI and his overall 30 years of service in the sports medicine field.

During his tenure at ASMI, Johnson led a collaboration with the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, helping expand ASMI's fellowship program and train more than 400 new healthcare providers in orthopaedic sports medicine, primary care sports medicine, and orthopaedic foot and ankle injuries.
