Congressman Gary Palmer, Vestavia Hills Mayor Ashley Curry, State Senator Jabo Waggoner and Dr. Bret Walters of Homewood Church of Christ joined Swaid N. Swaid, MD this week to break ground on Vestavia Medical Plaza which will be located on Old Montgomery Highway.

Vestavia Medical Plaza will be a 40,000 square foot multi-specialty medical plaza with an ambulatory surgery center, diagnostic center and clinical space. Brasfield & Gorrie will serve as general contractor. The plaza is being developed by Practice Partners, and Evan Terry Associates is the architect. Construction begins this month with completion projected for fall 2019.
