Drs. Alan Hanley and Elizabeth Carstensen have joined Norwood Clinic.

After earning his undergraduate and medical degrees from LSU, Hanley attended the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alabama. He practiced family medicine in Baton Rouge and Rome, Georgia before coming to Alabama in 2019.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and is certified with Diabetes Care Management.

Elizabeth Carstensen

Carstensen earned her undergraduate degree from Davidson College in North Carolina before receiving her Medical Degree from Wake Forest. She did a family medicine residency at the University of Virginia. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, CAQ in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
