As of June 1, Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center has relocated their Gardendale clinic to 323 Fieldstown Road.

The renovated building, which Andrews acquired in September, is 9,563 square feet in total with Andrews Sports Medicine and ATI Physical Therapy occupying 5,253 square feet, while another medical tenant occupies the remaining square footage.

Jay Umarvadia, MD, who has been treating patients in the Gardendale clinic since it opened in 2017, will treat patients at the new location. He is a non-surgical sports medicine physician who sees all types of orthopaedic medical issues, including both sports-related and non-sports-related injuries. In addition, he serves as a team physician for Gardendale High School, Cordova High School, Corner High School, Dora High School, Hayden High School and Mortimer-Jordan High School.

"We are proud to serve Gardendale, North Jefferson County and surrounding communities. The investment in a larger space will allow our practice to better serve our patients," said CEO Lisa Warren.
