In January, Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center will open its newest clinic located in Cullman, Alabama. Andrews is occupying space alongside ATI Physical Therapy in a new 6,000+ square-foot building.

"We are thrilled to be opening a Cullman clinic," said Lisa Warren, CEO of Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. "The clinic will be staffed by the two most recent physicians to join our practice - Drs Monte Ketchum and Marcus Rothermich. Both doctors received their fellowship training at Andrews and officially joined us this past October."

Monte Ketchum, DO is a non-surgical physician who treats all types of orthopaedic issues, including sports-related and non-sports-related injuries and osteoarthritis in joints. He performs various ultrasound-guided injections, including viscosupplementation for osteoarthritis of joints and platelet-rich plasma therapy for tendon and ligament injuries and arthritic conditions.

Marcus A. Rothermich, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He has extensive training in both general orthopaedic surgery and complex sports medicine techniques. He has a particular interest in elbow reconstruction in overhead athletes, rotator cuff repairs, complex knee surgery and total joint replacement. He is excited to return to Alabama after working in private practice in Florida, where he served as a consultant to the New York Mets and as the team doctor for their local minor league affiliate.
