ATI Physical Therapy is expanding with the opening of new clinics in Trussville, Cullman and Birmingham-St. Vincent. The clinics will offer access to physical therapy, sports medicine and workers' compensation services. In addition, ATI, through its Sports Medicine Group, will provide athletic trainers to cover the sports programs at 30 schools in the Birmingham area.
ATI's Birmingham locations are part of an ongoing effort to extend physical therapy services in Alabama. By the end of 2017, ATI plans to have opened an additional 10 clinics within the region. Nationwide, ATI operates more than 700 clinics across 25 states.
ATI provides personalized treatment plans. First appointments are scheduled within 24 to 48 hours, and early morning and evening hours are available. Rehabilitation services include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, sports-specific training, and therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
Unique to the industry, ATI's dedicated in-house research department aims to improve patient outcomes through basic science, research and evidence-based medicine. This includes the ATI Patient Outcomes Registry, a collection of data that supports an innovative approach to physical therapy.
